Hops is technically the name of the cones, or female flower buds, of the Humulus lupulus plant. It is used to brew alcohol, and is native to the temperate Northern Hemisphere. It is easy to identify and pick. The plant reported to have psychedelic properties, particularly in the flowers and leaves and when extracted.
Hops are in the Cannabaceae family with cannabis and are one of it's closest relatives.
Hops when smoked in low doses are reported to have very little effect.
It is reported to mix decently well with a large variety of plants, although it's use is largely undocumented.
